Assignment: Part 1 Pass-Off Video Assignment

Attached to this assignment is a demonstration of what we expect. A video recording is required. You video must have you full visible from head to toe during all step-offs and choreography. A metronome set at 140 or an audio recording from UDB MUST be used to play with. You will be graded on notes, rhythms, your two-count step-offs, your feet staying in-time, and your demonstration of your assigned choreography. PERCUSSION ONLY: Snare drums, tenor drums will perform this pass-off using video. Bass drums and front ensemble will perform this pass-off in-person with Mr. McWhorter. DRUM MAJORS ONLY: Drum majors are to turn in 4-measures of each of their TMEA Region Etudes. This drum major assignment may be submitted as an audio file. Submission Guidelines: Set your back camera to 0.5 so all manuevers are captured. Reduce file size by lowering framerate and resolution. If you cannot submit the recording on Classroom, upload the recording to Google Drive and share the link with Mr.Person and Mr. Miranda by email. If you cannot do that, you may send an email. If an email does not work, bring in the video recording so we can assess it. Students may resubmit work for a higher grade, even past the deadline.Late work will have a 70% maximum grade.
